Le Tchad, un pays qui, par sa superficie, environ deux fois et demi la France, constitue le cinquième du continent africain. Berceau des civilisations nomades et carrefour des caravanes transsahariennes, cet état est un véritable trait d’union entre le Maghreb et l’Afrique Noire. C’est le Nord que nous souhaitons aujourd’hui découvrir, plus précisément le Nord-Est, le massif de l’Ennedi, un monde minéral façonné par l’érosion du temps et uniquement traversé par quelques caravanes colorées.


The surface of Tchad represents two and a half times the size of France, making that country the 5th largest one among all African countries. It is the source of many migratory civilizations and the crossroads for transsaharian caravans. That State is an important connecting link between the so-called Maghreb and the Sub-Saharian part of Africa.In this documentary, we will focus on the North-Eastern part of the country, where lies the mass of mountains called the Ennedi: an ancient mineral world shaped by erosion, that only few colorful caravans dare to cross.
